Growing Areas Publications

2009 Storm Event - Shellfish Growing Area Closures After Action Report.  This report summarizes actions taken and presents water quality data recorded during and after the floods in January 2009. (pdf, 1.5 mb)

Annual Report: Commercial and Recreational Shellfish Areas in Washington State.  This report is compiled each year to fulfill elements of the Puget Sound Partnership's Management Plan and Conservation and Recovery Plan. (pdf, 483 kb).  This report, also known as the Annual Inventory, is different than the annual reports on individual growing areas.

A growing area map is part of the Annual Report; it's listed separately due to its size.

Shellfish Growing Area Annual Reports, Early Warning System Summary ReportsDOH's annual sanitary review of individual commercial shellfish growing areas.

Published with the annual reports are a list of areas that are "threatened" or "of concern", and a map that shows the general locations of these areas.
